CORONAVIRUS UPDATE 15/3/20
DUE TO CURRENT SITUATION WITH THE SPREAD OF CORONAVIRUS, THE PRACTICE HAS TAKEN IMMEDIATE STEPS TO PROTECT OUR PATIENTS AND OUR STAFF. ALL PATIENTS WILL BE TELEPHONE TRIAGED AND APPOINTMENTS GIVEN AT THE DISCRETION OF THE GP.
PATIENTS CAN STILL ORDER THEIR REPEAT OR ACUTE PRESCRIPTIONS ONLINE OR VIA THE TELEPHONE. HOWEVER WE WILL BE ASKING PATIENTS TO SPECIFY A PARTICULAR CHEMIST WHERE THEY WISH TO COLLECT THEIR PRESCRIPTION. PLEASE ALLOW 48 HOURS NOTICE.
WE ARE PUTTING THIS PLAN IN PLACE FOR THE FORSEEABLE FUTURE AND WILL MONITOR/REVIEW HOW THE CORONAVIRUS DEVELOPS. WE AS A PRACTICE WANT TO HELP PREVENT THE SPREAD OF THIS IN OUR LOCAL COMMUNITY AND THEREFORE WE WILL BE CHANGING THE ACCESS TO THE BUILDING. PATIENTS WILL BE TELEPHONE TRIAGED BY THE GP AND MAY BE INVITED TO THE SURGERY.
IF YOU HAVE A CURRENT PRESCRIPTION AWAITING COLLECTION PLEASE CONTACT US AND ADVISE US WHICH CHEMIST YOU WOULD LIKE THIS TO BE FORWARDED TO.

Self Care for Life – be healthy this winter As part of Self Care Week 2014, we are encouraging people to choose healthy lifestyle options that will impact positively on their physical health, mental wellbeing and self esteem. Help to maintain health and ward off illness by eating sensibly, stop smoking, drinking in moderation and taking regular exercise.
The Self Care Week message is "Self care for life – be healthy this winter" which we are supporting.
ARE YOU A CARER?
Please inform the practice if you are a carer so that you can be added to our register
